@devilsloveeachother a starter for the beloved!
It was 1982, two years before Tom and his family would unfortunately die. But for now, the Holloways were alive, healthy, and overall a happy family. Tom was the head of the household, then it was Janet his wife, and then their Princess of the castle was Heather. Heather had just turned 16 last week and Tom had just got her a brand new cherry red corvette for her birthday.
Life in Hawkins was only starting to ramp up. There was a lab, that did experiments in town, bad, experiments. And Tom ran the Hawkins Post, which was a very boring Newspaper for this very boring town.
Tom was filled to the brim with secrets, government secrets being the main one. But another one he held to dear life was the fact that he was a bit fucking closeted. Back in the 60's when he came back form Vietnam, he was in a bad state of mind. But somehow, this pale, long haired blonde god like being came into his life. Lestat.
And for the past twenty years, Lestat comes to visit Tom for awhile. In his youth, Tom was so in love and adored Lestat. But now as he has grown older, and unfortunately aged, he finds himself more like Lestat himself. A big ass Brat. Now when Lestat rolled into town, he and his former lover ended up usually going to the next town over to be on the prowl for pretty things to seduce and fuck together. Tom hasn't seen Lestat in a few years though. Tom figured as he ages he will probably see the other less and less. Tom is fully aware that he is...Nothing special, and that he was only a sexy piece of ass in his youth. And that a vampire like Lestat would have no real reason to enjoy Tom to this day.
When Tom heard the knock on his office it had the same beat that Lestat would use. And for a moment his heart stops in his chest, as it always did. Tom goes and opens his office door. The Hawkins Post was technically still open, but he was the only one left.
The man standing in front of him was not Lestat though, and Tom feels a sick twist in his gut like he's been tricked. Not that the man before him certainly wasn't attractive, he was. But he had the same air about him as Lestat did, and it made Tom feel nervous.
"Oh, good evening. I wasn't expecting anyone at this hour...Is there something I can help you with??"
