!!!!!!!!!!!! exactly !!!!!!!!!! like i dont even watch the show periodically like i watch it when it comes on netflix but its so ridiculous!!!!!!!! like as much as i love katherine most of her character development (from nice bulgarian girl to hbic) happened in the before time !!!!!!!!! like caroline is the most developed female character on the show but shes literally been the same person since she got turned and her turning was basically a way to show how damon was terrible but still had a heart blah blah blah
tbh there is NO depth and the females usually stand there like chess pieces and then the writers have them get with THIS guy and then this OTHER guy and oh look!!!!!! love triangle!!!!!! it sucks so much bc theyre such good actors and a lot of them have so much potential!!!!!!
and dont even get me started on the lack of queer representation on that fucking show
