This is some art I commissioned the fantastic @pokefangamebrainrot to make of my oc Asopo spending time reading with his platonic partner Erin. Two ace characters I love in a nice qpr. They're still taking commissions as of the time that I posted this. They mostly do humanoids and from my experience finish their commissions quite quickly. I imagine that if the two of them had a day to spend together Asopo and Erin would want some really quiet quality time. I'm imagining them in the Blakeory Athenium sharing a book. They're huddled together on a couch and Erin put an arm over Asopo's shoulders. She's holding the book with one hand and him with the other. Asopo is using both his hands to hold the book and turn the pages. They wait for each other to finish reading it all before turning to the next page. Erin is a faster reader than Asopo. She'd get through the book way quicker without him, but that's not what this is about. They don't speak to each other unless it's to softly murmur "...Are you ready?" or "I liked that part." Honestly I'm picturing them being so cosy together. Just the warmth of their cuddling and the words on the page. For hours. Maybe there'd be an intermission of a bathroom break or the interuption of someone coughing, but otherwise it would just be perfect comfort and silence. Afterwards I think they'd have dinner together before getting the Braviary Taxi back to Sashila.
Asopo and Erin go clothes shopping before taking some time to pretty him up. Erin is delighted with the result. So is Asopo's Goodra, Barrògoom.
Renegade Asopo wasn't a jerk from the start. For the first half of the game he had pretty high relationship points with the whole cast. After Terajuma though Renegade Asopo becomes a bit of a worse person. He doesn't suddenly start bullying the others. It's more like he gradually becomes more disinterested and cold. He stops laughing at Venam's jokes. He doesn't give Melia as much reassurance. He doesn't have as much patience for Aelita when she experiences Vivian's Madness and he starts to think she just doesn't like him anymore. He doesn't forgive Ren for joining Team Xen and the friendship doesn't fully recover.

what’s some music that asopo and erin both love?
Oh good question. I've thought that Asopo likes music that's easy to zone out to, and since both Erin and Asopo both spend a lot of time doing quiet tasks I think they'd have an appreciation for lofi that fills the silence without taking up much attention. (Asopo travelling or training isn't 'quiet' per se but he gets a lot of alone time)
I think that Erin might really like death metal and rock. Not just because she's the devil who listens to 'satanic music' lol, but also because it's cathartic to hear when you're stressed. It's some nice anger music for Erin. Asopo has enjoyed zoning out in the storm of noise so I think they'd both like those genres.
I think they'd listen to that together if they were both on a long car ride. Most other times they're sitting together they either have a conversation or enjoy the fact that they can be with each other without needing to listen to or say anything.
When I think about Devilfish Shipping I mainly just picture Erin and Asopo walking around, holding hands, sitting next to each other on the couch and sometimes hugging. I haven’t had much thoughts about what they'd talk about. But obviously they'd talk.
So if I consciously stop to try and develop this, I think Erin would mainly be leading the conversations with Asopo spending a lot of time listening to her yap. But she'd stop to ask him for input quite frequently, he wouldn't be overly passive in the conversation to the point that it doesn't go anywhere because he didn’t contribute. I think if he ever interrupted her it'd mainly be to ask a question. Like he'd want to clarify something or learn what a word means.
I think since they both really like fashion and looking pretty they'd go looking for new outfits together. Erin definitely helped him pick out a few of his best looking dresses and shirts/coats.
Devilfish Shipping. That's what I'm calling Asopo and Erin together now. They're in a queerplatonic relationship with lots of hugging, cuddling and hand holding. Sexual things is a hard no for both of them. They don't even want to kiss. Calling each other pretty/beautiful is typical of them though, especially if one of them finds a new outfit they like.
