🕷🕸 She was born the way she is. She comes from a near extinct tribe called 'The Tribe of Anansi', a tribe of people who are descendants of the trickster spider god Anansi. Her people lived peacefully in the jungle until most of them were hunted, killed or driven out from their homes. When Misttree was a toddler, her family made a boat out of their strong webs and set sail in search of a new home. However, a storm hit and the boat tipped over. Misttree, on a piece of stray web, floated all the way to the Americas, where she was found by the freakshow owner and was raised as an attraction to be gawked at. Misttree was the name given to her by the freakshow owner.
🕷🕸 When Misttree is 20, the freakshow owner tried to come onto her but she refused. He then tried to come onto her by force but she bit him. Misttree can produce venom from her fangs, so the freakshow owner died. Panicked she scared she ran. She was chased by the police for weeks. As she slept in the streets, she had strange dreams of a place called 'Midian' telling her that she would be forgiven so she made her way to Midian by piecing together and making a map from her dreams. When she got to the cemetery after a long journey, the girl collapsed from exhaustion. She thought that her dreams had forsaken her but figured that the cemetary could be her final resting place, as she didn't have the strength to go on anymore, as she closed her eyes and blacked out.
🕷🕸 When she woke up, she was resting on a bed, surrounded by Dirk Lylesburg, Peloquin, Rachel, Shuna Sassi and Kinski, who told her to not be alarmed and that Baphomet had led her there. The rest is history.
🕷🕸 Misttree has a spinerette on her lower back that produces thick, rope-like spider webs. She's insecure about it and doesn't like showing it to people because she thinks it looks gross, so she keeps it covered. It has to be cleaned often.
🕷🕸 She can sprout two other sets of arms from her waist (like Stich from Lilo and Stitch, hers are retractable) and they're really useful.
🕷🕸 She can climb walls. She likes to make giant webs on the high places of Midian and sleep up there, away from the others. It's the only way she can have some privacy in the somewhat overcrowded Midian.
🕷🕸 When Boone was initiated, she did try to seduce him using her pheromones but Boone ultimately rejected her because he was still in love with Lori, which she understood but was a little jealous because she thought he was cute ( and mainly because she had a bet with Lude and Leroy on whether or not she could seduce the newbie)
