DeviceHub.net joins the second edition of Techsylvania
Cluj-Napoca will be once more the gathering place for the CEE regionâs foremost creatives, technologists and innovators, at the second edition Techsylvania, 6-9 June 2015.
Techsylvania is aimed at promoting the Romanian IT communities as worldwide renowned technological centres and at stimulating the development of local products and solutions. It is the place where in-person inspiration is being passed on, ideas and knowledge are shared, projects and collaborations are started.
The Techsylvania event consists in two main parts:
6-7 June: Wearable and Connected Devices Hackathon - a 24-hour hackathon on connected and wearable devices, focused on attracting the vast pool of talent available locally, the main goal being to build the best project within this time frame
8-9 June: Technology and Innovation Conference, where kick-ass speakers will inspire current and future entrepreneurs to start their own business and will provide access to the investing community and the latest trends in technology
For the over 130 technology savvies eager to develop innovative applications for wearables and Internet of Things devices who are expected to take part in the Hackathon, DeviceHub.net will provide a PaaS (Platform as a Service) through which the hardware/mobile developers can connect and remotely manage multiple devices.
DeviceHub.net is an IoT platform that allows makers and companies to easily connect their Internet-enabled hardware projects to a dashboard for data gathering, data analysis and remote control. The modular and extensible APIs allow users to get data in and data out of the platform. The PaaS offering is modular and built to scale with security and performance as primary objectives. It can be fully white-labeled, re-branded, and installed on-premise or in a Virtual Private Cloud for Enterprise-grade deployments. Software development kits for many programming languages and environments (Python, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, Android) and for the most popular open source development boards, as well as guidelines for various tools are also provided thorough DeviceHub.net.
Moreover, the participants who will use the DeviceHub.net platform for their Hackathon project will benefit from a workshop on the features and the functionality of the platform, held by Constantin Craciun, co-founder of DeviceHub.net.
