Apple Sweetens Some Trade-In Deals
Apple has raised trade-in values across a range of iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, and select Android phones. Most increases are fairly small, but a few Mac models received much larger bumps.
The Mac Studio saw the biggest jump, rising from $1,045 to $1,305. The MacBook Pro is now valued at up to $855, while the Mac Pro increased to $2,195.
Apple also added several Android devices to its trade-in program, including the Pixel 9 lineup, OnePlus 13 models, and Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra. Some older Android phones, however, had their values reduced slightly.
My Feedback:
Higher trade-in credit sounds generous until it meets the price of a new Apple device. Still, an extra couple hundred dollars is harder to shrug off than the usual tiny adjustment.
