Daily Doodles
Peanut proportions, slight jrageon form redesign, and lil' Infa doodles.
I definitely am starting to feel that I am refining the ways in which I wish draw all of my characters. I definitely love the roundness and curves achievable by the body...and just muscles in general, but I don't always want realism/standard proportions. So, something cartoony but which will still allow me to draw the round forms has been what I have been working towards. Unfortunately, it never felt right, and I never had enough time to just figure that out.
My conclusion, as of yesterday, was that I tended to exagerate arm length just ever so slightly, and my brain hated it. XD
(Exhibits A and B)
Also, I don't always use the peanut, and I should as it helps me conceptualize the curves a bit better. Plus, it does not hurt to review Dynamic Figure Drawing and Dynamic Anatomy every once in a while to remind yourself of basic lines and shapes that help you to block in the forms.
So. Yeah. I had fun doing this and am hoping I can do more since I am in need of some extra funds and would like to pro.ote my Ko-fi with finished, colored drawings for once and not sketched doodles. XD
Continuing with the furries, this is my little man.
Sadly he doesn’t have a name yet 🥺
:3 👉👈
Still figuring out what he is but I know he carries lanterns across the night sky to light it up
To start on my mission to improve my art, I looked at what I wasn't satisfied in my creations: Mainly Color, Shading, and lighting. So I drew a quick sketch and then filled in it's lineart. (of a humanized Venus De Milo from 'TMNT- The Next Mutation') and made three copies of it, before filling them in after taking notes on online art lessons.
NOTES BELOW
I drew this picture in November 2022
I drew this picture in April 2023
and I drew this one the other day!! (September 2023)
I just wanted to document how my style has developed since then. which one is your favourite?

How to Develop Your Own Writing Style
To start, your writing is already unique, because you tell stories in a way no one else would, but if you’re looking to develop it more, here are some tips on how to do that.
If you base some of your story’s events or characters off of real events or people in your life, you’re the only one who’s experienced it, so you have to remember it to the best of your abilities and really capture what you want.
Think about specific wording and what kinds of words get you to make you feel strong emotions. Try to incorporate that into your own writing. It is your job to make the reader feel something, so just pull at their heartstrings in a way you know would get to you.
Writing even just a paragraph a day can help you find how you write and your little nuances (for instance, I tend to use “always,” “literally,” “actually,” “really,” etc a lot and tend to write long sentences). When you are able to identify what makes your writing yours, it’ll be easier for you recognize what you’re doing while you’re writing and it will get better as your writing improves.
There are tons of other ways you can develop it as well, but the main thing really is just writing as much as you can. Finding your own style is hard, but if you try to avoid clichés (that’s not to say you can’t use them at all), or bring your own twist to them, find new ways to describe things, then you’ll be golden!
Good luck and happy writing!
