Moving in the fast lane.
Phase 2 completely blew by, like holy crap. And unlike 3 weeks ago, we don’t have a week off between Phase 2 and Phase 3 this time. So it’s straight back to the grind. I’m hella excited to push myself as hard as I can without dying over the next 3 weeks though. Looking forward to working with Rails, working on Thunder Talk projects (probably will look more into JS, React and hopefully Flux) to build on my front-end skills. One thing that’s gonna be hard for sure is keeping myself from thinking about final projects haha. For now, I’ll just have to tell myself to work towards building my skillset for final projects without actually thinking about final projects. More importantly, I’ll have to commit to not eating out as much this week and packing as much as possible for lunch and dinner. I spent 2 hours cooking this morning and hope that the food I made lasts for 5 days at least haha. To potential future reads and any possible incognito followers, I apologize for not blogging as often as I said I would. But in all seriousness, you’ll understand that it’s pretty damn hard to do so when you’re going through DBC. That, or I’m just making excuses. K, back to Rails tutorials and then some JS lectures.
