This might be useful for everyone who’s currently learning German and wants to improve their listening skills or is already quite confident in them. 

While cleaning I started listening to Podcasts and I recently discovered the Podcasts of Deutschlandfunk Nova. I personally listen to the series “Eine Stunde History” on Spotify, but one can also access all the Podcasts via the link above and as far as I know you can download them all.  There are 18 different series each with different topics e.g. history, politics, love, movies, food, etc. I can only speak for the history one here, but this one lasts approximately 30 - 40 mins and they seem to be very well researched including interviews with actual historians.
