Hey, I'm editing ecology stuff for my job rn and I have a quick poll. I don't know how far this will reach, but I'm curious, so please, weigh in in the tags or the notes or whatever.
When you first learned about different kinds of "'vores" (herbivores, carnivores, omnivores, etc.), what did you learn the name was for an animal that eats dead things?
AND, as far as you're aware, has that term changed at all in the past ten to twenty years? Thanks!
