◑ It Goes Without Saying – ACCEPTING
heal take care of them when they get sick
“You don’t have to worry about me, really.”
In stark contrast to his words, though, Unusual was draped across a park bench, his hat covering his face to try and ease his nausea a bit. Simply watching the world spin around him made him sick to his stomach, and shielding himself from it with the most convenient article of clothing was his best solution.
He wouldn’t have thought he looked sick to passersby, but Erica’s presence and attentiveness suggested otherwise. Clearly, Unusual looked like someone who could use a hand. With a shamed sigh, he lifted up his hat just enough to see her crouched by the bench, no doubt ready to try and offer some form of assistance.
“I’m just feeling a little under the weather. It’ll pass, I think.” Though Unusual was not so sure of this, given that he’d gone from only feeling slightly ill to so queasy and disoriented he had to find a quiet place to lie down for gods only knew how long. “You don’t need to stay.”
