his words are neither welcoming nor a snide; simply a remark. of course he has somewhat anticipated this, of course he has known her decision the moment she has made, just as he knows now that there will be a slight breeze in the air as he finally holds his steps and stares at her. just as he knows that there are thousands of tiny flapping of wings, and thousand more ripples of affect it could garner as consequences. he does not fear them, nor does he necessarily feel joyous from them. it is, as it will be.

his youngest sister, @thenightmareofyourdrems, is— well, in truth, destiny has little thought of her. not due to ... lack of care, perhaps, as one might assume, but more so because their functions, while crosses, do not often overlap. and, in truth, destiny is aware enough that he is not the sibling the rest would seek so frequently, besides from death who does sometimes walk by in his garden during her contemplative moods, for reasons other than any impending doom or dire requests that they would seek his counsel for.

still, to say he is ... offended, would be too simple. he is not. he simply is. or, in another sense of the word, he accepts. just as he accepts the youngest of the endless now into his realm, his focus entirely on her. he asks, ❛⠀have you lost your companion once more ?  ❜

The way that I just ordered the weekly shounen magazine this came from because of the clear file that has this image of him. Because I'm so thirsty for new illustrations and merchandise of Reiner. AND THIS IS HIM GRINNING. HE HAPPY. LIKE SHIT IF I'M GOING TO PASS IT UP.
