still can't believe the moon really is haunted
I have been playing Destiny since July 17, 2014! This game has been such an important part of my life and I fell in love the moment I landed at the Tower for the very first time! This silly little shooter has been with me ever since, but because of struggling financial situations and messy real life stuff I had to navigate at a young age, I’ve never been able to buy collector editions for the dlcs! I’ve always wanted them, and I finally am in a position where I can go out and start hunting for them!
A very kind man was selling the Shadowkeep edition locally and I leapt at the chance! My partner and one of my best friends drove with me to the city which is an hour away from us to pick it up! There was a snow storm earlier in the morning but I refused to let that stop me haha! I started hopping up and down when I saw the man coming outside with the box, we talked for a bit and we both had recently earned our Undertaker titles! I sent him a screenshot of my Guardian, and he sent me one of his!
I am genuinely so happy to be in a place where I can now start collecting things like this for a game I love. This marks the start of my Destiny shelf! I can’t wait to add more!

I know this is a long shot, but has anyone not done the final mission of Shadowkeep?
Long story short, I lost all my screenshots and recording I had of the ending cutscene because my SSD killed itself (thanks Windows 11) and I don't know anyone who hasn't finished it, nor do I want to delete any of my characters. So if someone could take me through the final mission that would be super!
And yes I know the final mission is replayable, it doesn't give you the cutscenes though (but the replay of the first mission of Beyond light does, make it make sense).

I miss Destiny.
I miss my Guardian and Ghost OCs. I miss the gameplay. The characters. The settings.
I don't miss the inconsistency. Especially when every major update is as expensive as they are. This isn't even mentioning Bungie's absolutely abhorrent business practices.
I have never hated everything a game has grown to be as bad as I do Destiny 2, but still constantly find myself wanting to play it again.
