[text] Sorry, I’m walking in, I got stuck in traffic :)

[Really, he’s had plenty of time after school was out; but much of that time was occupied rushing around to make sure the house was clean and running to the shop to make sure he had enough groceries. Dressed more casually this time in jeans rather than his slacks and tie for work, he’s rushing inside OTP towards the gate, and maybe hopping a bit to see through the crowd.]

[Traffic isn’t something he wants to be reminded of, not when he’s got another ride through Bucharest to look forward to. He manages to locate Andrei, checks once again to make sure he has all his things and follows him to his car. Once in the vehicle and out of sight of those in the airport, he leans over to press a kiss to Andrei’s cheek.] 

[text: Andrei]: ? you alright there?

He smiles in amusement and raises a hand to cover the grin that is threatening to creep across his face. He knows he shouldn’t laugh but... it’s incredibly tempting. “Hey, Andrei, I really do appreciate your attempt to practice a new language. But I don’t think that word quite means what ya think it means. Unless ya actually are trying to give me some kind of poison...”

[text] I can still get a cab, I don’t want to pull you away from your work.

Andrei was still mentally patting himself on the back for getting to Oslo on such a short notice, and it seemed to have made a great impact on his boyfriend, as previously they’d thought they would have to wait an entire month to see each other again. The Balkan nation had been in Oslo for barely a few hours, and now they were sat down to a relatively nice dinner in a restaurant.

They were situated in a corner, that felt intimate and private and quiet. He felt a bit of a mess after having hopped on his flight right after finishing an entire school day; but he couldn’t hold back the bashful smiles when Lukas looked across at him or when their knees brushed against each other. He was laughing at some stupid joke he’d made when something brushed against his hand under the table–he realized his hand was being grabbed. Not threateningly; but judging by something that flashed across his boyfriend’s face, needy and appreciative. He bit his lip, smiling, and gave a squeeze before running his thumb over Lukas’ knuckles.

A surprise visit was wonderful, and Lukas had made sure to make reservations for the night Andrei flew in as soon as he’d heard. He hadn’t expected to see him again for another month, so his presence was a very nice surprise. He couldn’t help tossing a few half-smiles across the table at him, and eventually even twining his fingers with the brunet’s.
