Hoshikari Battle of the Bands quickly gained Kanon’s interest, being one of the first things she went to when she finally arrived at the festival. Although it was mostly solo singers, it made her nostalgic for her town back in Japan. She participated in something similar with Harohapi months ago, and their win was something that amazed her. From winging it to gaining fans, it was all... rather whiplash inducing, if she was being honest. But she loved every second of it, even if she was taken by surprise most of the time. 

Due to that, she decided to stand in the (thankfully) normal sized crowd, clapping along to the beat and supporting anyone who went up. A part of her was curious on trying, but all she really knows is drumming. Sure, she had a duet song with Kokoro, but she’s not here... or anyone else. Kaoru managed to arrive, but she’s off doing her own thing-- no need to bother her. Besides, singing and drumming up there is a little embarrassing...

Kanon notices someone standing next to her, and she turns her head. He looks rather interested by this, too... maybe she should strike up a conversation? Would he even want one? She should try, at the very least.

“They’re pretty good, right...?”

Normally, this was a task he could easily do himself even if he was currently hanging upside down from a tree; but the branch was a lot weaker than it had sold itself to be and a hand was occupied with phone. He wasn’t looking forward to the fall should he try to get himself out of this on his own.

The diversity of worlds the population of Koi seemed to be pulled from was both interesting and irritating. On the one hand, Natsuno couldn’t help but be curious about different worlds. Who wouldn’t be?

On the other, it made it harder to read people. Natsuno had gotten used to being able to trust his nose and his instincts when it came to how magical and/or dangerous any given individual was. But if he didn’t know what he was smelling or sensing, he couldn’t evaluate it properly. And because the scent of Koi itself was permeated with some kind of unknown power, it took Natsuno longer to distinguish what scents were individuals, and which were the environment, until he was way too close for comfort to the people emitting them.

Fortunately, Koi wasn’t a particularly violent place, and Natsuno hadn’t been physically or magically attacked yet. But fuck, it was exhausting to be so tense and on guard all the time.

Heading out from Lakeview Lofts for the evening, Natsuno was less than ten feet from someone walking in the opposite direction when his nostrils flared and caught the scent of potent magic and death on the guy. Gritting his teeth, Natsuno abruptly turned on a hard angle to cross the street and put as much distance between them as possible.

She is so easy to frighten some days, shying away from even a spare look in her direction; Xion has a hard time warming up to people some days ( one might’ve told her in the past that such was impossible ). Girl, not girl, but puppet, simply imitating the emotions she lacked— that’s what they were always told, wasn’t it Though her past was full of shaky distrust, that might be the one thing that remained true.

❝ Wh—What?! A double-player game?! ❞ Anger flares in scarlet hues, as a hand is slammed on the booth — the audacity of these humans! Why would they insist that she has to get a partner to play this game when she is obviously talented enough to clear it herself? ❝ Quit looking down on me. I’m a goddess. I can beat this ridiculous game by mys—— ❞ 

What, they are still refusing her?!

Sighing in defeat, she spins around in an attempt to find another person she can rope into joining her. A certain redhead stands out from the crowd and easily catches her eye — she wonders if it’s because of his aura..?  Either way, he’s going to be her target. ❝ You there. Join me for this shooting game. ❞

She had already entered the classroom that house her fifth class; Stealth and Camouflage. Being an archer and a thief like she is, Elselyn knew that this was going to benefit her highly, probably a lot more than the other studies that she had. She was in a rather good mood, even when she found herself forgetting that she had nothing to write with when the class has began already. She had turned to the nearest person, hoping that they were kind enough to lend them a pen or pencil.

❝Um, excuse me. Do you have a lend of a pen?❞ She asked in a whisper, hoping that the teacher wouldn’t notice. ❝I’ll give it back to you by the end of the day, I swear.❞
