A great time was had at @deathwavefest this weekend! Got to hang with and see some amazing and sweet and wonderful artists ( @rikkagnew and @gitanedemonequartet i'm looking at you--gah what amazing energy you both have. I got shy and didn't ask for a photo)...plus Mr. Contrary & I got a lil weekend getaway out of it (he made me mac & cheese for breakfast on his old Boy Scout camp stove this morning!!). Music festivals that include camping are FUN. This one was affordable and I would definitely go back as an artist OR attendee. They even built the special structure that you see on the photo, out of pallets and corrugated tin, just for artists and a yummy banh mi sammich lady. And there were tacos, veg option provided.
