I recently saw a FB meme featuring a picture of two editions of a very widely-read and nationally-known newspaper. These two editions were from the same day/date, but distributed in different markets. Notably - VERY notably to the meme maker - these newspapers featured the same lead story, but the headline was different for each edition, one worded to reflect the opposite (reader?) sentiment as the other. Okay. Um. Yeah. Like, they all do it. And for a long time. And just because some are only NOW discovering this well-documented practice (obviously, to sell more newspapers) is of ZERO relevance.
