On the left, the Soulbound Doll is a little doll that was imbued with a fragment of someone's soul, making a new person sharing a strong personality trait. They're made to be servants or friends, but have free will so that doesn't always work out. If it does they're usually administrators commanding other constructs, and are oddly powerful for something the size of a child's doll. They can levitate, create a floating hand, can do little magical tricks like cleaning and making lights, and have a stronger spell based on their defining personality trait. A brave one might double in size, a jolly one might fill you with uncontrollable laughter, etc. Also, even if the body's destroyed, their core gem can be put in a new one by a construct technician with no lasting harm!
On the right is the Dero. They're stealthy subterranean fey around 3 ft (1 m) tall who kidnap people to perform twisted experiments on them. They live off a poisonous and potentially hallucinogenic fungus that gives them occult powers and slows aging, but also gives them an odd glow and birth defects. The experiments are done in thier attempt to cure how sunlight burns them alive. They all have innate magic to daze and create darkness, as well as cultural knowledge of mixing poisons to slow and muddle minds (since that's needed for their food source). Older leaders typically delve further into occult magic, mostly for restraint, muddling minds, erasing memories, etc., and even thier gaze can overstimulate and confuse you
