Falling for the Enemy HCs (Derieri, Melascula)

Derieri

At first, she couldn’t care much about you at all

Like all she knew was that you were her enemy and that you had mildly missed her off once or twice in a few fights

But that was it for the longest time- she didn’t think nor care about you

But then one day, she couldn’t help but catch a glimpse of you in a fight with someone else and realize that, well…Oh no he’s hot ):

Over time she starts to have conflicting feelings because technically, the two of you are opposed but she’s beginning to realize that she likes more than just your pretty face- it’s your personality too

And so she starts to fall for you (well, more like the idea of you, but still)

Though because the two of you are kept at a distance because of the whole opposite sides thing, she does show her affection in other ways

She keeps others from harming you, she gets a little clingy when she sees you, and she’s not as cold (and is actually kinda excited) when she gets to talk to you

Outside of that, she doesn’t really do much to express these feelings

Though maybe if this was before her sister died, things would be very very different

Now she was always aware of your pretty face

In fact, she probably made jokes about how you are more looks than brains and brawns whenever the two of you were in a fight

But over time, she started to get more and more shameless about it almost like she’s the one pulling your pigtails or whatever

She starts to get excited at the prospect of seeing you simply because she likes seeing you (fighting, arguing, etc.)

And she doesn’t let anyone else fight you, even if you technically have a skill that she’s not very suited to handle because you’re hers)

So she doesn’t know when exactly she’s fallen for you (although it’s probably closer to infatuation than obsession), but once she realizes that she did- she finds that she doesn’t care 

If her eyes, you’re far too pretty to let slip away, and there’s something really really attractive about how you carry yourself- especially around her

However, because of her personality, she isn’t going to risk it all for you and disobey the demon king so you’re not gonna get her to switch sides and live happily ever after

In fact, what you should be worried about is if she ever beats you into unconsciousness, she’s 1000% taking you as her trophy
