So as promised here is another picture of Thiksey Monastery. Actually if you swipe you will realise these are actually two pictures of the same monastery taken at exactly same spot but using different points in the scene for focus. You can simply shift the foucs point and make a differnt aspect of the scene as the focal point of the image. Like in the first one we have the stone with inscription as the focal point withe monastery as blur and in the second scene the monastery is in foucs while the stone is blurred. This concept is also called playing with Depth of field. A very useful concept to know when you want to do landscape photography, also u can use this concept to have a tack sharp image by using a tripod and taking multipe images and then stacking them together. But that is another discussion. So a question > What should I post next from Ladakh ? People ? Landscapes or something else? Do tell me and I will share accordingly. #Lehdiaries⠀ #NGTIndia⠀ #depthoffileld #aperture #desi_diaries⠀ #Gompas ⠀ #cntgiveitashot⠀ #ladakh #pictureoftheday⠀ #ecofriendlyLadakh⠀ #Hipaae #Ladakhtrip⠀ #lehladakh⠀ #cntgiveitashot⠀⠀ #NGTIndia⠀⠀ #bbctravel⠀⠀ #onassignment #incredibleindia⠀ #visitKashmir ⠀⠀ #dslr_official⠀ #Mypixeldiary ⠀#IamNikon⠀⠀ #travelphotography #capturetomorrow #TheGrandDragonLadakh⠀⠀ PS: I visited Ladakh once again, this time thanks to the good folks at @granddragonladakh⠀ Check, like follow @desiTraveler & post using #desiTraveler, to be featured on the " UsLee", & original desi Traveler :P BTW hamaree koi branch nahi hai.
