Kris Michaels: Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to talk with me! I’m thrilled to get to ask you questions. Okay, I’m done fangirling now. 4PD - Day 40 - Point of View
Teaching can be very interesting. You plan a course, you plan lessons, but things rarely go exactly as planned. When teaching other people, they have their own ideas and theories, and a bad teacher ignores these and sticks to their own plan, a good teacher learns from them and incorporates them into the class.Â
I often teach my students about using odd angles to what they think they should use. But I realized today that I don’t take that into account myself. Not as much as I used to anyway. Seeing my students work, l and there theories and ideas around framing, I realized I really need to get back to trying out strange angles with my photography. So that’s what today's 4PD is all about.
After a long day, it was difficult to get my self out tonight, but I think I have really got something a bit different, and I love the last shot taken from within a house plant. Its not in focus at all, but there is depth and texture. I think I will look at house plants in a very different way from now on!

Depth of Feild
I took this photos as part of my AS photography coursework preparation. We was exploring different depths of field by using manual focus on our cameras. I chose to take my photos of flowers and plants. I really like the colours in all of these photos and how the negative space in most of images is out of focus, this makes the positive space look really crisp and clear.
