I'm not Dying but I Bleed : deploratae
Everyone in the house was asleep, except for Sigyn. She sat downstairs in the small sewing room with an empty dog bed by her side. It was quickly filled by the feral cat that lived in the bush outside, he happily plopped down in the wolf's bed. His green eyes watched Sigyn as she embroidered the dress she was working on for Queen Frigga. Zinnias and Ladybird Scarlets lined the edges of the sleeves, two hummingbirds were placed above each breast near the neckline. On the back, vines of ivy curled up towards the neck and separate ones curled around the bottom of the dress. As soon as she finished this last vine, she would have to continue working on a smaller project for a friend who had just given birth. It was a doll that wasn't really supposed to resemble anyone, but so far it looked like Lady Sif.
The poor cat jerked awake as Sigyn opened the squeaky cabinet door where there were a few scraps of fabric and she apologized to the cat. She found a few pieces of fabric to make a patchwork torso and legs, as well as a larger piece for the dress. Once she closed the door, a noise made her stop moving to listen closely. The cat yawned and she continued about her business. She trimmed the the lose threads around the doll's hairline and smiled at the adorable little bun that it had. Then she started working on the torso. Another noise made her jump and she set the doll down onto the desk, listening intently. The shuffling continue and she grabbed a pair of scissors from the table, holding them firmly in her fist as she stood up.
A wave of anxiety made her stomach tie itself into a knot. She stuck her head out of the door way and looked around the dark shop, barely illuminated by the moonlight and the light from the sewing room. A tall figure stood in the middle of the room. Sigyn wanted to call out to let the intruder know she was there, but she felt like he or she was there for a reason. She stepped forward, the scissors still in her hand and her long nightgown trailing across the floor.
