“you’d think after everything.. i’d have a solid answer to that huh?” he let out a pretty small sigh, he wasn’t the best at the deeper side of these kind of talks. you wouldn’t see many people coming to him for advice, but he was quite a good ear to listen when needed. the years had truly done him in, he’d been through the ringer. at least he held enough respect amongst his peers that he still got these softer moments. “i guess vague questions get vague answers though.”
“Eh...it maybe be vague but it’s a question that gets your mind going, that’s for sure. I can feel the gears in my head turning right now.” At times she gave the advice, others she resorted into telling herself that she needed it? She couldn’t be the voice of reason for everyone all the time. “Anyway, how have you been, stranger? It’s been a minute since we chopped it up like this.”
