CAR TROUBLE
Now I’m back once again with my Part Three (and hopefully last) trip to Denver…the ride home. Now this is getting a little ridiculous because this trip was only like 2 days and it’s taken up 3 of my blog posts just to tell this dumb story.
But I might as well get on with it…so after we left the mountains, and South Park (still one of the coolest places I’ve ever been to) I fell asleep again. Usually I hate sleeping in cars, but lately with my insomniac problems, I can sleep just about anywhere. But anyway, as I was sleeping, we were quickly chugging along to get home when suddenly, I hear a loud bang quickly waking me up from my deep sleep.
And the next thing I know, we are slowing down as my dad curses at the car…my car! So seeing as it was my car, my first reaction to his curse was to yell, “Hey! Be nice to Princess Saber!”
Nobody really said anything to that as we rolled to a stop. My dad then explained that he blew a tire. It was then that my mom called someone and we got off the road after an hour…AN HOUR!! It was incredibly hot out and I really hated sitting there, waiting for a tow truck. It was humiliating.
When we finally got our tow, we were forced to wait at a station for them to fix it for another hour and our simple trip to Denver took even longer. So after this trip and another trip that I had to make a while before this one (I’ll be sure to recount that story too soon even though it is better to talk about with hand gestures). Now even though my car likes to break a lot, I still love my car and can’t wait to take it to college with me.
