DENIMIZATION 

Regardless of seasons and trends, denim always remains a hot favourite. From the rise of leggings to sudden love for flare, from ripped/frayed to embroidered - it has seen all. They can be worn anywhere and everywhere. For me, it’s all about playing with it’s different colours and washes which obviously makes double denim my favourite denim trend. So, here’s my version of the double denim look :

The 70′s Play

If 70′s is your favourite decade, especially for its fashion, then this one’s for you. Sometimes, head-to-toe denim blues can have an effect similar to Monday blues. So, to break the monotony of denim blues, you can always add a statement accessory in a complementing colour like millennial pink, violet etc.

Colour Riot 

Vintage invaded into the denim category of outfits bringing the MOM jeans, split front midi skirt, Canadian tuxedo, dungarees and denim culottes back into the trendy lifestyle.  The denim trend stole the street style of fashion capitals during the fashion weeks in 2016. The skinny jeans, jeggings are no more “cool”; they are slightly being replaced by wide-leg, loose-fit, pale-rinse denim or high-waisted jeans.

We believe that the culottes, boyfriend cuts, MOM jeans are the next big trend. Other new trends have blossomed in parallel. Wardrobe pieces such as the midi skirts, crop tops, robe coats, ankle booties are a great combination with the above mentioned denim items.

Some mass market fashion retailers, which were aware of the new style trend boom, have already updated their collections. For the ones who look for MOM jeans we recommend to search them in Topshop, Asos or Bershka. If you are eager to spend more for better quality and ideal fit, then the premium line of Levi’s  called ReDone will be a perfect choice. Another luxury brand - Vetements denim (French brand) was widely worn by “It” girls during the FW 2016 in New York, London, Milan and Paris. Vetements denim stands out for its simple design: raw, stepped hems, the removed pockets and the dark patches.
