Known as the Masked Camellia, Saori’s elemental burst involves a single camellia blossom, the flower scatters into thousands of blade-like petals forming into masses flowing swiftly along the wind to obliterate opponents instantaneously.

The camellia blossom, often seen as a symbol of strong love, holds other symbolisms.

Traditionally, camellias were tied to samurais. Warriors looked upon the camellias as symbols of bravery and strength against all odds. Another symbolism stems from the sudden way these flowers wilt. As other flowers slowly lose their petals, camellia flowers fully fall from the plant. Samurais hoped the camellia’s quick death would mirror how they slay their opponents.

Since Saori had special relationships with camellias, she often used these flowers to honor the fallen no matter their allegiance.
