With this pandemic I've been able to get a lot of things done around the house that needed attention. I had wanted to remove the dog house and fence that enclosed it since we bought this house last year. Finally got around to it. The fence was closing off a 1/3 of the yard. Took me 2 hours to take down the dog house and all I needed was a hammer and a sledge hammer. Felt good when I was done. Took a little longer to remove the fence poles since I didn't have any proper tools. All I had was a shovel and some good good music. Few hours later and I had a bigger back yard. Wrote and recorded scratch guitar, bass, and midi drums for “Prism”_day 763_LP1_this song has been an absolute bugger creatively for me. It was gonna start out being a rockabilly song, and then a funk song, and then an ambient/ethereal tune, and in a demo version I threw all these and more at the wall to see what would stick. Now that I’ve got a better idea as to what to take it in, and what would sound, well, more in-tune with the album, it’s going to funk town, with some indie rock and ethereal elements thrown in.
