Who is the Clown Heading Israelâs Justice System?
By M.Brosh, Author of Cassandraâs Shadow
Yariv Levin â The Sad Joke at the Expense of Israelâs Citizens
Yariv Levin, who currently holds the title of âMinister of Justice,â has in recent years become one of the most polarizing figures in Israeli politics. For many, he is not merely a politician but someone who played a decisive role in weakening the state from within, making him one of the central figures responsible for the national disaster of October 7.
Levin, who branded himself as a warrior against the âjudicial elite,â spearheaded moves intended to fundamentally alter Israelâs system of checks and balances. He has pushed for unprecedented interference in the judicial system, from attacks on the Supreme Court to aggressive actions against the Attorney General â including changing the locks on her office, a move more befitting a street criminal than a government minister.
The Architect of Disaster â and the Price We All Pay
Levin was busy dismantling Israelâs internal resilience. Instead of strengthening civilian and security systems, he waged internal wars that diverted attention and resources from the real challenges facing the country. The result â a weakened state, shattered national resilience, and a deeply divided society.
Continuing the Fight â Against the State of Israel
Despite mounting public criticism, Levin refuses to leave the stage. On the contrary, he has returned with the same agenda, once again attempting to push through measures widely seen as an effort to dismantle Israelâs democracy from within. In the eyes of his critics, he is nothing less than a âpolitical saboteurâ operating from inside the government itself.
Where Do We Go from Here?
Will the public continue to allow leaders like him to hold such sensitive positions of power? Can Israel afford more years of destructive internal battles while its security and societal challenges grow? These questions are becoming more urgent by the day â and the countryâs future depends on the answers given to them.
Is Yariv Levin Deliberately Undermining the Justice System?
A central question troubling many is whether Levin is driven solely by personal motives or if he is acting as part of a coordinated strategy to dismantle Israelâs judicial system to free the sitting Prime Minister from an ongoing criminal trial. According to his critics, Levinâs actions stem not from a sense of statesmanship but from blind political loyalty, aimed at weakening the institutions that are meant to serve as a safeguard against governmental corruption. His series of moves â from ongoing attacks on the courts to personal measures against law enforcement officials â paints the picture of someone willing to dismantle democracy to protect one man. If this is indeed the case, it is not only a moral failure but a direct threat to the future of Israelâs judiciary and the rule of law.
The Struggle for Balance: Power, Accountability, and Democracy in the Age of Trump
Regardless of whether these prisoners are rightfully imprisoned or not, it is extremely frustrating to see someone like Trump, who has such influence and support, seemingly doing whatever he wants, even when it appears that he is violating rules and norms. It can make you feel like there is little to be done, especially when he knows how to use his power to push through what he wants, despite legal or political opposition.
However, it is important to realize that there are indeed mechanisms that can stop him, even though it may sometimes seem difficult to break through them. The rule of law and democratic institutions are designed to check power, even for figures with a lot of influence. This can be done through legal procedures, political opposition, or public pressure.
I think the current situation displays a kind of power dynamic where Trump seems to be able to do a lot. But that does not mean there are no ways to restore balance. Sometimes, it is a long process, requiring action from politicians, judges, and the broader public.
If you feel utterly powerless in such a situation, remember that, even though it may take time, the systems of checks and balances remain essential in preserving democracy.
The Silent Erasure of Local History â
Why It Matters More Than You Think
I have a deep appreciation for independent media, especially outlets like Fumaça and Gerador, which shed light on stories that often go unnoticed. Recently, Fumaça highlighted a powerful article from Gerador:
"Refém da Falta de Recursos, Memória dos Media Locais Estå em Risco de Desaparecer", written by Sofia Craveiro, edited by Tiago Sigorelho, and published on December 18, 2023.
The article reveals a silent crisis: local media archives are disappearing due to chronic underfunding, lack of digitization, and institutional neglect. These archivesâoften the only record of small-town historyâare being lost forever.
But does that really matter? Absolutely.
When archives vanish, so do decades of political history, community struggles, and cultural evolution. The press is not just a source of daily newsâit is a long-term record of society. If we erase the past, we erase accountability, public memory, and historical truth.
- What happens when we can no longer trace political promises?
- What happens when local corruption leaves no trace?
- What happens when community victories are forgotten?
The answer is simple: history is rewritten to serve those in power.
I have written a detailed breakdown of the article, summarizing its key points to make the topic more accessible. If you care about press freedom, knowledge preservation, and historical accountability, this is a conversation worth having.

AI Is Eating the GovernmentâAnd We Should All Be Terrified
Welcome to the future, where tech billionaires are replacing your government with cold, unfeeling algorithms that donât give a f*ck if you live or die. Yep, AI is officially making decisions on Social Security, healthcare, education, and even who gets screwed overâand itâs a disaster in the making. đ
Itâs not some sci-fi dystopia. Weâre living it. Muskâs DOGE team now has access to sensitive government data, and guess what? Theyâre feeding it to AI to make decisionsâdecisions that affect your life. đ€đ
Remember when AI was supposed to help? Well, AI doesnât save livesâit will decide who gets healthcare, who gets money, and who gets left behind. From fatal AI errors in drone strikes to racist facial recognition software, weâve seen AI fail time and time again. So, what happens when AI is running the U.S. government? Spoiler: It's not pretty. đ«đŒ
This isnât about tech geeks messing up. This is about billionaires and their AI toys deciding who gets what, with no oversight or accountability. Weâre witnessing the privatization of everything, from education to government services, all in the name of efficiency. Guess who benefits? Not us. đ€Ą
Itâs a game plan thatâs straight out of Project 2025, a blueprint for dismantling the federal government and replacing it with AI-run bullsh*t. And guess whoâs behind it? Musk, Thiel, and a bunch of tech bros who think they know better than the experts whoâve been running things for years. đ„đŒ
This is about power, not just optimization. If we let this happen, weâre giving the keys to our future to people who donât care about anything but profit. Democracy? Say goodbye.
And hereâs the kicker! AI canât solve these problems! Not yet. It's not ready for prime time. It can only make them worse. But theyâre pushing it anyway. đŁ
What can you do?
Start talking to people. Talk to those who still donât see whatâs happening.
Speak out about how AI is failing us and how these billionaires are taking over everything.
Keep an eye on local politics because if we donât hold them accountable, weâre toast.
The fight for democracy isnât over. But if we donât act now, we might wake up in a world where AI is the new ruler.
Alright, letâs cut through the noise.
Billionaire Musk's Secret Government TakeoverâAnd You Should Care
Grab your magnifying glass because itâs time to go full detective mode. While we were busy trying to survive, Elon Musk was assembling a crew of techie âDOGEâ staffers to quietly tear apart the federal government. And no, theyâre not just some tech-savvy kids from a basement. They're now controlling the U.S. Treasuryâs payment systems. That should terrify anyone who cares about democracy. đŹ
Shady backgrounds to deleted social media accounts (nice try), Muskâs ragtag crew is poking holes in the system while we sit back and watch. One of these bright minds even resigned after racist posts resurfaced. But itâs okay, because theyâre efficient, right? đ
But the internet never forgets. These wannabe government execs might be scrubbing their digital footprints, but there are always traces left behind. Itâs time to release the armchair sleuths and get digging. đ»đ
If youâve got info on these DOGE Musketeersâwhether itâs about their sketchy behavior or a random shady connectionâdrop it like itâs hot. We canât let this slip through the cracks.
Who are these DOGE players? Weâve got the 19-year-old âBig Ballsâ running around with Russian-market sites, a 25-year-old railing against the "Deep State" while helping dismantle government agencies, and other tech bros too deep in Muskâs pocket to care about the damage theyâre causing.
These people are NOT the future we want. đ„
What can you do?
Dig. The internet is full of info. Find it, share it.
Report. Send tips to: [email protected]
Stay loud. Donât let these techy tyrants think they can silently dismantle democracy. đ
Weâre watching our government get gutted, and the people behind it are laughing all the way to the bank. But we have power. They canât erase everything. Letâs keep our eyes on them.
Donât let this slip into the background noise. Stand up, fight back. If we donât, democracy will become a hashtag.

_"Venezuela's Democracy Under Siege: New Law Sparks Human Rights Concerns"_
Caracas, December 11, 2024. On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, celebrated on December 10, the radio program "TermĂłmetro Social" (Social Thermometer), broadcast on Radio Fe y AlegrĂa 1390 AM, addressed the risks posed by the recently approved SimĂłn BolĂvar Law, which has been criticized for its implications for fundamental rights in Venezuela.
During the program, Juan Luis Sosa, constitutional lawyer and co-host of the show along with VĂctor Fuenmayor, former mayor of Ciudad BolĂvar, a city located 658.3 kilometers (408.3 miles) southeast of Caracas, and retired university professor, coincided in warning about the provisions of this law that could contravene basic principles of justice and democracy.
Sosa highlighted the historical importance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the UN in 1948, as "the essence of peaceful coexistence in modern societies". However, he expressed concern about Article 23 of the SimĂłn BolĂvar Law, which creates a list of individuals suspected of acts contrary to the regime. "For such a list to exist, there must be a prior procedure, there must be a trial," he stated, while also describing the accessory penalties of political disqualification provided for in the law, which can reach up to 60 years, as excessive.
For his part, Fuenmayor emphasized that, although the 1999 Venezuelan Constitution gave constitutional rank to the defense of human rights through the creation of the Ombudsman's Office, the effective fulfillment of this mandate is questionable. "That those who manage or direct it are outside any radius of defense of human rights is a deep discussion that we must give," he pointed out. He also criticized the fact that laws in Venezuela, such as the SimĂłn BolĂvar Law, are approved without a broad public debate, describing this procedure as "extremely dangerous for democracy".
Both hosts underscored that these provisions evoke episodes such as the controversial TascĂłn List, which in the past stigmatized thousands of citizens. For Sosa, the creation of such lists represents a "red line" that threatens the principles of equality and dignity established in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
"TermĂłmetro Social" is a space for critical analysis of the country's main social and political issues. On this occasion, the program highlighted the need for a national debate to ensure that laws in Venezuela respect fundamental rights and promote democracy.
