A small huff left the raven's lips. Today was a 'special' day. It wasn't often they gained a new clansman, despite what most would think the Captain was rather picky with who he accepted as part of his clan. As he was told when he joined 'they needed to prove themselves', so it was always a rare occasion when someone seemed to meet the qualifications.
And as the third in command he was always sent to greet the new recruits and 'welcome them with open arms'. Tch, he'd rather be stuck with paper work, but as the old saying goes; with great power comes with great responsibility. Or something along those lines, he wasn't to sure; his specialty was in solving equations, not reciting old sayings.
Which was why the teen was currently waiting in front of the headquarter's building, his arms folded under his ribs. He actually took the time to make his uniform appear as if it were in pristine condition, he did have to set a good example after all so the extra effort wasn't so bad.
Saruhiko was leaning against the wired fence that surrounded the building, one of his feet tapping against the pavement in irritation. Demitri wasn't even running late, but that couldn't stop him from growing impatient with waiting, if anything he was just out early.
Another quiet sigh passed through parted lips. He really shouldn't have come out thirty minutes early, especially once he considered how impatient he could get after sitting around for just ten minutes. The poor kid was going to end up hating him by the time his training was over, a thought that shouldn't reassure the clansmen as much as it did.
