An interesting start to our walk was seeing a kangaroo near the cemetery paddock! Occasionally an adventurous one gets away from the mob that live at the bottom of our road! This action is fraught with danger as this one almost discovered! As we turned back for home so as not to alarm it, the roo went straight across the road missing a car by inches! Jenny’s response was interesting she didn’t bark but watched with interest! The last we saw of it was face to face across the road and as it looked like it was going to cross back, I walked toward it to keep it moving down the hill on the other side where it stood more of a chance!🙏 The cars go far too fast and don’t obey the speed rules! A beautiful sunrise! I just missed the intense pink but got a lovely serenade from Musetta! Saw one baby Butcherbird this morning! There were two yesterday afternoon when I took my camera! Fred was busy with his demanding babies but you’ll hear the warning cries from Fred and the Noisy Miners as a possible predator is around! It could have been the Raven but maybe not! #birdsscape #greybutcherbird #birds_adored #australianmagpie #demandingbabies #whogoesthere #notrespassing #printemps2021 #redskyinthemorning #sunrise #kangaroo #musetta #morningsong #walkingthewhitewolf #jenny https://www.instagram.com/p/CWZMzGJB6XR/?utm_medium=tumblr
