What’s drawn people to Bishop in his past is his overwhelming gentleness. He really has a soothing presence.
🌼 - Embarrassing, but Brook is Bishop’s best friend and his family. She hasn’t been around for as long as he has, but she’s been a constant presence in his life for a very very very long time. Unlike most souls, she’s content to stick around with Bishop instead of moving on.
He doesn’t have a lot of requirements when it comes to friends or partners, it’s pretty easy for him to find beauty or companionship in almost anyone. What’s most important to him in a romantic partner, though, would be knowing that they’re serious in their affections and plan on sticking around for a while.
🌺 - Despite being Sibyl, Bishop doesn’t dream often. He feels like it’s too risky. He rarely feels the need to sleep, being dead and all that, but occasionally he needs to recharge (in a way). During those times he will actively use whatever he can to keep himself from dreaming, usually some form of magic sleep tea or something. He’s afraid that projecting or dreaming would dislodge his soul from his body to a degree that he wouldn’t be able to fix.
In the rare occasions that he does have a nightmare, they shake him up pretty bad. He’s seen plenty of terrible things to inspire them, and he’s watched family and friends fall asleep only to never wake up. One of his greatest fears is being caught in a nightmare forever, unable to come back to his body. That, or joining the endless sea of souls that he could feel blink out of existence when Vampiru fell.
Bu T anyway. He makes himself feel better after a nightmare by talking to Brook or by listening to music.
