It’s touch and go, this game of Twenty Questions, but Cassie’s never certain where she stands with her father’s associates -- NEW or OLD. It’s an awkward question, maybe, and even a little pompous sounding (she’s really gotta work on her delivery), but knowing couldn’t necessarily HURT, right? ‘ I mean... like... coolest. ‘ 

‘ So. ‘   Chloe takes up a chair next to him, nearly flopping down into it as sore limbs find relief. She wants to find a beer to nurse on -- preferably, two or three -- - but a moment’s rest outweighed a drink on her list of dwindling priorities. One job after the next ; she didn’t like sitting still for long, but she figured they could treat themselves for one evening. They deserved that much.

❝ Monsieur Flynn ! ❞ booming voice carries across the cafe from the balcony, followed by the witch wafting a cigarette ( poised on it’s ORNATE holder ) in the air — just in case harry didn’t quite hear them. some onlookers turn to look, but cam’s haunting tenor deterred them from gazing for too long ( lest sunglasses lower, violet eyes turning them all to STONE as punishment ! ).

IT’S SAD HOW EVEN AFTER THE WORLD ENDS , human faults are still as apparent as ever . selfishness , for instance . no regard for the fellow man . in this darwinian world ( it’s kill or be killed , no way to sugarcoat that ) it’s imperative of course , to ensure one own’s survival . but there’s a line between making sure you make it to the next day & & stepping on the backs of others . she’s done her very best to help the survivors she happens upon & & she’s met many that would rather gut her & & take her guns & & food than accept her help .

                  it’s starting to sound like he’s one of those types .
