1, 21. How about some Delsh?
Oh my heart, soft babies. Ienxienxiws, y e s
Darya's hand was in Connors, walking down the street side by side, as Connor was walking her home. It was oddly quiet for the evening, but it could have to do with rain being in the forecast all night.
They weren't concerned though, just enjoying each others company as they often do. Darya found it easy to be herself around Connor, and Connor adored her so he always loved to be around her.
Lately, Connor always caught himself staring at her mouth. The way she talked, laughed, or even just smiled, his eyes would ultimately be drawn to that spot. Thankfully, Darya hadn't completely picked up on it, and thought he was being a creep for staring.
"Connor? Did- Did you hear me?" Darya murmured, and Connor blinked back into reality with a shake of his head. "Oh, sorry Angel. I didn't catch that, i lost my train of thought." His smile was sheepish as he interlocked their fingers and brought his hand to her lips, gently kissing her knuckles. "Tell me again?"
Darya's face heated up as she chewed on her bottom lip, her gaze flickering to his lips for a moment before meeting his gaze again. "I asked if maybe instead of a group movie night this weekend.. We could just have a movie night with you and me?" She sounded unsure, as if hoping he wouldn't be upset by the notion.
But when could he ever say no to her? Darya was one of the most beautiful people he's ever known. Not only in looks, but in personality and wit. There was no one else like her.. and he- He hadn't answered yet, realizing as he watched the worry cross her face from his lack of response. "I think that's a perfect idea, princess. We can do that." Connor kept his voice gentle, and Darya's expression made his heart leap in his chest.
She had the brightest smile on her face, and she was looking at him with such adoration as she squeezed his hand. God he wanted to kiss her, but was a little scared to.
So they walked on, until Darya stopped and looked up, scrunching up her nose when she felt the raindrops. "Oh no-" Connor almost laughed at how adorable she sounded then, tugging on her hand the two started running as the rain started to pour.
Connor quickly pulled Darya into the small shelter used to wait for the bus, and shrugged off his jacket before putting it over her shoulders. "Think we can make it?" He grinned, and Darya's face flushed with fresh color.
Her gaze again flickering to his lips before meeting his eyes once more, tugging his jacket around herself a little bit more. "Absolutely! Race you!" When she took off running, Connor watched her with admiration, before chasing after her. His arms wrapping around Darya's waist as they reached the walkway to the small yellow house.
"Caught you!" Connor laughed, and Darya giggled leaning her head back to look up at him. "You did indeed, Mr. Welsh. And you've successfully walked me home too." She seemed almost sad, especially when his arms moved from around her till all he held was her hand.
"It seems i have. Till tomorrow, Miss. Sawyer?" Connor squeezed her hand as she took a few steps away. "Absolutely." Darya nods, turning but Connor quickly tugged her back.
Her hands found his chest first, surprised and worried at the fact his clothes were soaked through from the rain. She didn't get to voice her concern however, as Connor tipped her head up and placed a gentle kiss on her lips.
Darya's eyes widened before they fluttered closed, melting into the kiss as her hands slid up to comb her fingers through his hair. His lips were soft, careful, and the kiss was full of love before he finally pulled back. Connors hands on her back, as he then pressed a gentle kiss to Darya's forehead.
"I'll see you tomorrow, angel. Dry off, stay warm, and get some sleep." Connor said softly, as he let her go. Darya nods, reluctantly letting go of him and stepping towards the door. "Goodnight, Sweet Prince. Till tomorrow."
