A landmark of Hollywood that most people overlook. This tiny patch of a park has not one, but TWO monuments honoring Rudolph Valentino.
One is a bust of the silent film star that is almost 50 years old and the other is a full body, art deco statue that is 90 years old.
You’d think this would be called Valentino Park, but instead its named after a French real estate developer named DeLongpre who only lived in Hollywood for five years.
There is also a dormant fountain in this park that appeared in a Laurel and Hardy two-reeler and a few other Hal Roach comedies.
