The calmness in his voice disappears immediately.One hand gripping your jaw gently, checking responsiveness while the other keeps your body steady against him.

He becomes terrifyingly focused. No panic externally. But his pulse is going insane.

“Look at me.” “…” “Open your eyes.”

The second you wake up? He gets angry from relief.

“You’re telling me next time you feel unwell.”

Enjin

Enjin’s heart DROPS.Like actual stomach-turning fear.

He’s kneeling beside you instantly: “Baby? Hey-hey.”

You’ve never heard him sound that serious before.

Usually smooth, playful Enjin? Gone.

Now he’s checking your breathing, brushing hair away from your face with shaky hands while trying to stay calm.The moment you wake up he’s half relieved, half offended.

Gris Rubion

Gris freezes for exactly half a second.Then switches into full efficiency mode.

Checks pulse. Breathing. Possible injuries. What caused it.

But despite the logical actions, his expression gives him away completely.He looks genuinely frightened.Especially if your body goes limp against him.

When you wake up? He’s unusually quiet for a while afterward.

Rudo Surebrec (older)

Older Rudo catches you HARD against his chest.

“Shit-”

The curse slips out immediately.He keeps calling your name over and over in that low rough voice while trying to wake you.And if somebody nearby isn’t helping fast enough? Oh he gets MEAN.

“Move.” “Get water.” “NOW.”

The relief when you finally stir is visible all over his face.

Then he immediately starts scolding you.

Zanka Nijiku (older)

Zanka goes ice cold.

Not emotionally. Mentally.

Everything sharpens instantly.He lowers you carefully, checks your condition, starts calculating possible causes immediately.But the second you don’t respond fast enough?

His composure cracks.

Again. Sharper this time.

The moment you wake up and look confused? This man exhales like he’s been holding his breath for years.

Delmon Gates

Delmon reacts FAST.

One second joking around- next second he’s already catching you.

His voice drops immediately: “Y/n.”

The fear shows most in how tightly he holds you.Like if he loosens his grip for even a second something worse will happen.

The second your eyes open again? He presses his forehead against yours briefly without even realizing he did it.

Follo goes pale instantly.

After a night of heavy drinking you wake up to the worst headache known to mankind, a ball of nausea sitting in your belly, and a ring on your finger. You know clearly where the first two came from but the shiny band? Yeah, that one completely stumps you. Looking around your place you see that you're alone, except for a marriage certificate with unreadable signatures and a Polaroid of a group of Cleaners.

How they skate with you

Adult cleaners; pt 1

Enjin:

Genuine ass at skating. He'd probably uses Umbreaker to keep his balance and end up falling face flat on the concrete while you laugh at him.

Gets the hang of it a little after awhile and starts using the skates to chase you around. Also holds Umbreaker up to use to wind to move.

Gris:

Hes got a decent grip on it but will fall atleast once whenever trying it with you. He tries to act romantic like holding your hand while skating together but always ends up either holding on too tight before falling or pulling you down with him as he falls.

Bro:

Taugth Guita and Dear how to skate so he knows what he's doing. If your ever unsteady while skating with him, he'll wrap his Jinki around you and lead you with him while trying to teach you to skate properly.

Follo:

Absolutely terrible. The type of person to buck their knees and hope that he doesn't face flat on the ground.

Needs to hold atleast 2 people so he doesn't keep moving forward and falling or he holds onto a wall or ledge for leverage.

Gob:

probably learned it once on a whim because Remlin asked him to so he's definetly good.

The type of person to learn a couple cool tricks on it then never use them again unless he wants to brag about the moves again.

Tamsy:

Oh he's good. Probably owns a pair of those shoes that have retractable wheels and rolls around in them outside.

is the one teaching you how to Rollercoaster since he's probably been doing it for a long time.

Delmon:

Has the balance of a baby. The moment he puts those skates on he's flying since he can't hold still for the life of him.

You deifnetly have to stay after his ass the entire time or you will lose sight of him.

Corvus:

actually pretty good. He can keep up with you after you show him the rails then he's good to go.

Suggests that you teach the other Cleaners so that they have a fun group activity to do on their day off.

August:

can do some basic tricks but tell him to skate in a straight line and he's completely lost.

Has a decent balance but fucks around with you just to make you panic then falls for real while trolling.

Tomme:

Pretty coordinated of you teach her right. Give her a few minutes and she'll be better than you at skating.

Probay reads a book about it first before learning so she can get a headstart on you and learn faster.

Semiu:

The best roller skater around dude. Probably walks in them like they're her daily heels and has no trouble whatsoever.

She can definetly wear them all day if she wanted to but prefers not.

Tamsy would gaslight you about your anniversary but take you out on the nicest date while thinking about what he can get later.

They are definitely the type to make things transactional and use the "If you love me you would xyz"

Does have a tendency for gift giving and will always know what to get you since he watches you like an experiment.

Gives midnight shoebill energy.

Really likes someone who is either very much into his plan for Rudo or someone who doesn't look past surface level on the things he does or is oblivious.

If he's really in love he will watch you more, wanting to know what makes you tick, what he can do to bring you to your fullest potential even if said methods aren't the best.

Occasionally has you interact with Rudo to see how bonds with his companion affect him. Depending on the outcome you either become the aunt/uncle of the kid or you only have limited interactions.

Zodyl probably just as mysterious as Corvus but on a manic scale.

He obsesses over the Triple R set and the sphere more than he should and it concerns you at first but you are nothing but loyal to him even if things aren't how you imagined.

Just as much as he obsesses over that he obsesses over you. He behaves almost like a starved hunting dog just before the leash is dropped.

He knows you'll do as asked but will never give you a mission that goes against your morals. He knows your strengths and won't stand for hesitations even from you.

He won't shield you from what he does but he won't go out of his way to explain himself either.

There are days where he seems more absent than usual. Watching a screen of static as if it speaks to him and he is the utterly devoted believer. Those days coaxing him away from it is best, even if you have to do it by bringing in loose information or other distractions.

There are few times you'll ever see the dullness fade from his eyes but you cherish him wholly even if he is more distant from you than you'd like.

Don't ever let Jabber see you depressed over this mfer because he'll just laugh.

Enjin will do minor things to make you irritated. Not enough to make you leave but enough to piss you off so he can get yelled at, give you small little insincere apologies (you know he's going to do it again) and watch you give him a pout or a little smile when he finally gets your forgiveness. (Insert it's like a reward meme).

Definitely would take care of you in a way that doesn't encroach on your independence and delights in you telling him about the crazy shit you get up to.

Doesn't like the soft uwu girl shit. Wants someone that could slap the shit out of him when he's in the wrong and will still leave supplies to fix umbreaker next to the couch he'll be sleeping on that night.

Gets a bit restless if you bring up kids (even if you don't want em, if you mention a kid is adorable in passing he just ugh). He don't want em. Specially with the life he lives. He gets enough of the brats on his team and they're already out of theyre troublesome twos.

Appreciates how you can be a bit stern with the younger folks and even the other adults.

He trusts your instincts and wouldn't question you if it was important but he definitely will when it comes to getting on your last nerve.

Corvus is mysterious in every way. People don't know much about him. Semiu being one of the few odd ones out but she barely even knows y'all are together. Y'all definitely don't act like it but she is way too observant to not notice eventually.

You are a cleaner from a different branch so you don't see each other often but even if you were in the same branch vacation days are few and far in between and when he isn't in office he ain't always with you.

You understand he is doing his best to keep things running smoothly but sometimes you look at all the paperwork Semiu has to do when he's out and grieve her piece of mind for her.

When you're together he clings to you like a child to a teddy bear. Hand always in yours or at your lower back. He appreciates your independence because he knows he doesn't need to feel guilty when either of you has to leave.

He worries for you always but is the first to gas you up by subtle displays of confidence in your skill.

You use his hair as a form of meditation. Can't say you haven't cried while giving him a retwist because of a mission gone wrong. But he'll never say anything about it.

Helps you on the worst days just like you give him what he needs on his.

Relationship is very much the epitome of "the little things".

He's okay when it comes to communication but you know he hides many things from you, especially once Rudo comes through. He starts changing a bit but never to the point where it negatively affects you. Though you are concerned about his recent behavior visiting a recovering Follo.

Gris is very dedicated to his work as a supporter and older brother figure to the younger kids but damn does that man need a break.

He is honestly not a bad romantic partner but there does tend to be a lot of distance when it comes to work.

He takes care of his job first but will always treat you as priority when you're around.

He can't have someone who is too clingy just because of the nature of his job. Sometimes he's gone for days at a time or heavily injured and he can't have someone freaking out and can't hold down the fort if he isn't home on time.

Man will treat you like an angel and is very tactile with his affection. If you're not part of the cleaners and are a civilian he might have you stay in headquarters anyways once you reached that stage if you aren't opposed to it.

Likes that you can be soft when he needs it and his rock when he can't handle it.

Very good at communicating.

Semiu is on equal spots with Gris and we love her but you'd wish she would stop leaving the nudey mags everywhere. You'd have a friend over at one point and they found one stuffed behind the couch pillow and it had a sticky note on a page saying try this soon. You fuckin embarrassed but had fun with it much later.

She's not the type to deal with hard headed brats in her own home. She already has to deal with Enjin enough as is. But she ain't the mommy type either.

She's dedicated and will hang up in Corvus' face if he asks for off hour work and it ain't important cause she's spending time with you.

She likes the domestic vibes you bring to her life. You tend to do something fun whenever she can catch a break since she is mainly stuck at HQ all the time.

She can be a bitch to argue with but she rarely starts em. She'll make her point then leave you be. Ain't no point in senseless fighting. Waste of time and energy.

Good communicator #2.

Delmon is a giant of a man and at first you thought he was a little much but seeing how passionate he is about the well-being of the others drew you in.

After getting to know you more he tells you about what happened in his past with his wife and how he became a cleaner. The man is a widower and holds his grief close to his chest. He would do his best to make sure that it wouldn't overshadow his treatment of you.

He is very protective of you but he does his best not to be overbearing. Gives you space but loves doing little things for you.

If you are the gardening type even better.

He sets you up closer to HQ just in case but knows even if the cleaners ain't around that you can take care of yourself to an extent.

For some reason though you tend to stray away from HQ but whenever he brings the cleaners over for a family dinner you're always welcoming and taking care of everyone. Even going as far to leave out extra supplies just in case folks stay the night.

He treats you so well. Cherishing you and being the devoted giant that he is.

Works hard with you to figure out a way to get shit growing and almost cries when the first sprout comes through.

Would build you a giant greenhouse if he could but he gives you every little moment he has.

Appreciates how you try to match his passion but doesn't take away from your quiet time.

· You call out trauma not to be cruel, but because you genuinely forget they don't know you already love them. You're just... skipping to the part where you're besties.

· He loathes your levity. You make jokes while he's seething, pull out the Flower card to shower him in petals mid-rant. He once tried to break your scepter. You just pulled out The Shield and giggled.
