she weeps. there’s no other word for it. these are not the glorified, trackless tears of hollywood. this is not the simple act of crying. this is pure, raw emotion flowing as much from her tears, as the sobs that wrench out of her throat. ( in the very back of her mind, hope knows she should be embarrassed about crying in front of lizzie saltzman, let alone into the other girl’s shoulder, but she doesn’t care anymore. ) hands wind into the blonde’s shirt, the hybrid’s entire body shaking with the pain rippling through her.

Pedro told him where Lizzie was, even if it was late at night. She had returned just recently from Europe, and Erik had only been home for a few days since he arrived back. Healed, better, or so he thinks. A part of him is nervous, of meeting her again. Would she be mad that he left? He did said he would come back, and she had been away for the most part, but with Lizzie, he never knows what to expect. “Lizzie?“ He calls by the door of the kitchen, he can see her in dim light, a sandwich in her hand. He leans over and breathes out. “Pedro told me you were back and   I wanted to see you.” A step taking inside the kitchen, blue against green before he tries a gentle smile on his own. “I seeked you out a couple of days ago but you were gone. Hope never told me so   I waited.”
