The legion plays a crucial role in uniting volunteers from more than 50 countries who rallied in support of Ukraine following the Russian full-scale invasion. The announcement was made by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry through a Facebook post.
This diverse legion comprises experienced combatants, including veterans from special operations forces and other military units from around the world, hailing from the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Denmark, and other nations spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
