there  was  something  STRANGE  about  seeing  familiar  faces  from  his  past  .  he  had  always  been  adamant  that  he  had  to  leave  them  to  get  on  with  their  own  lives  once  he  left  them  .  that  they  were  able  to  live  ordinary  ,  wonderful  ,  human  lives  .  the  type of  life  that  he  could  always  covet  but  could  never  have  .  

he  would  never  UNDERSTAND  how  humans  could  slip  so  easily  back  into  seeing  familiar  faces  .  when  he  did  it  ,  it  broke  his  hearts  .  for  them  it  could  be  mere  days  since  they  parted  .  for  him  ,  it  could  be  LIFETIMES  .  &&  in  this  case  it  wasn’t  just  a  few  thousand  years  .  it  was  two  regenerations  past  .  whether  or  not  she  would  see  past  his  face  &&  see  just  him  ,  well  ,  that  was  something  that  made  him  worried  beyond  REASON  .  

though  that  expression  never  played  across  his  face  ,  his  usual  expression  still  that  one  of  a  grumpy  old  man  as  he  brought  the  TARDIS  to  a  screeching  stop  ,  staring  at  the  scanner  as  rose  tyler  stepped  further  across  the  street  ,  she  dumbfounded  to  see  a  familiar  box  once  more  .  standing  to  full  height  ,  the  doctor  unbuttoned  his  jacket  before  running  his  hand  through  his  hair  .  a  momentarily  sigh  ESCAPED  his  lips  &&  he  opened  the  TARDIS  doors  .

     bill still wasn’t quite clear on the details  (and it seemed that      with  time lords,  there were  a few)  but she knew  rose had      disappeared for a year, back when she was still human. and      she knew  her mother  had taken  it badly  —  the  evidence      was right there in front of her.

     if she’d done that to her mother... she couldn’t even imagine.

“Y’know, I really thought tha’ New Year’s party would be funner,” Amy said, plopping down on the couch, groaning as she struggled to remove her heals, it wasn’t probably the best idea to try to attempt this hand-less and slightly tipsy. 

 “Everyone there was just so boring.”
