India-Singapore navies begin biggest weapon firing drill Simbex

India and Singapore navies Friday kicked off this year’s biggest maritime combat drills off the Andaman and Nicobar islands in terms of weapon firing and carrying out complex manoeuvres.

India to participate in Cobra Gold military exercise next year

Senior military officers of India, USA and Thailand met in Thailand’s capital Bangkok on Saturday to chalk out the plan for the largest military exercise of South East Asia – Cobra Gold.

The exercise which is co-sponsored by United States and Thailand will be organised in February next year.
