“That’s so sweet of you, Balaur,” Tifa said, surprise on her face from his gesture. She wondered if he knew about holiday traditions -- did he recall them from a previous life?

Reaching for the bag, she gave him a genuine smile. Of course he would know of one of her weaknesses. Her hand held part of his -- as was safe to do -- after taking the chocolates and holding them in the other. She leaned downwards, leaving a gentle kiss at the palm of his claw-hand. 

He was a bit too tall for her to do it anywhere else. 

Sounds of amused monster cackling.

Leon had started to cringe at the sound of the blood pouring out of the wound from the deer, like.. running water. It was a sound that was sadly heard often, the smell also something he had come accustomed to. Anyone he’d meet who hadn’t been around a lot of blood never thought it could have a smell, but with enough of it around it wasn’t hard to pick up. He wrinkled his nose up and took a few slow steps backwards, raising both handguns and pointing them at the BOW’s chest. The armor didn’t look thick there.
