Look, I am not saying don’t vote, but there are limits to electoral politics, and the GOP + SCOTUS have successfully gamed the system.

So that headline is probably not what you expected since I’m not a registered Republican. And yes it is also a little of a provocation, but with a bit of sane thinking. Here’s the thing… I’m flying to New York with my family in about a week.

When we are in NYC we like to spend money. Yeah we are good consumers, I don’t have a problem admitting to that. But we are not blind consumers, meaning we like a good deal, and the best deal when going to NYC is the possible deal before the deal. The currency conversion! Which brings me back to my original point.

Of course I don’t want the world in financial turmoil but I would love a deal when I buy my dollars. Even though I do use my credit card I can’t determine the conversion rate that way. With cash i can. So speaker Boehner dig your heels in so we can save some money when the dollar plummits after the default on Thursday.
