Shepard settles upon the cushioned seats with something akin to real AMUSEMENT glinting in her eyes, curling the corners of her mouth. She wonders how much she has changed since she sat on this couch the last time, newly RESURRECTED, undeniably afraid. Probably not that much ---- but she’s got certain aspirations in mind.
❝ If you’re going to INSIST on summoning me, you’d better offer me a drink or two to sweeten the deal. ❞
★★. PRESTIGE .
“ aria t’loak. “ the words passing her lips with ABSOLUTE professionalism. the meeting between them was planned ( though aria did prove to be . . . pushy ). tevos stood behind her desk, breaking from her absorption of the scenery beyond the windows of her office; dusk always proved to be captivating on the citadel. her hands didn’t unfold from bind her back as she dipped her head in greeting.
“ i ASSUME with how sudden your request to meet came, your topic of choice holds some level of urgency? “ she, of all people, could understand the value of time and the desire to deal with sudden urgency as quickly as it rose.

Her words had been a little slurred, showing she had clearly been drinking before she had approached her mother. There were words she wanted to say, but even buzzed, they get stalled before they can leave. “Yeah. I know... maybe sleep isn’t what I want... I can still dream when I sleep.”

A CRACKLE AS THE OMNI-TOOL COMES TO LIFE; transmission across Omega at times could be faulty, especially when the caller does her absolute best to remain UNDETECTABLE. Then again, it is not even as if she must try all too much to remain in secrecy ─ she has already mastered the art of shadowing. With that in-mind, even when contacting the Pirate Queen herself, a hooded kleptomaniac could only hold a hidden smirk about herself.
IN A VOICE THAT IS NOTHING AKIN TO HER OWN, she begins once indication is given that her call has been received. ❛ Aria T’Loak? My sources say you’ve been trying AWFUL HARD to get my attention. I hope you don’t find any DISRESPECT in me contacting you personally. If there’s nothing else, what’s the offer you have? ❜

What did one say when meeting 'royalty'? Your majesty? Bow? Bowing sounded good. Don't want to overplay it too much. How often did she get bowed to anyways? Not important. It took some convincing to have the guards let her up the stairs, and by convincing she meant she knocked out the first one and left him unconscious propped up against a wall. The second one up the stairs just figured she had been allowed up. Clever guards.
After that, it didn't take long for Brill to arrive at Aria's landing. At the sight of her, Brill bowed. "Aria T'loak." She said calmly as she bowed. "I was hoping I could have a word?"

“I could call the doctor back.” Aria didn’t speak loud enough to make it a declarative suggestion, knowing that she would only get the same answer. Rest, and someone to keep an eye on Liselle just in case things got worse. She sat at the edge of the bed half turned to Liselle, “I could see if Aryna will watch you.” A possibility, but there was no telling what she could b doing at this hour. “Or I could stay.” An option she didn’t mind, but it was, of course, the last.
It wasn’t a bad fever, but it was still a fever, and it was annoyingly accompanied by nausea and general unsteadiness whenever Liselle attempted to stand. She made little “mmph” noises at her mother at each suggestion, up until she suggested the possibility of her staying. That got a different response out of the young asari, and she rolled over to face her mother. “Last one,” she replied. “I want you to stay.”
