Yeah, I think it can work! I’d suggest it be correlating in some way, but there are a lot of options there. I could imagine something like Stumblestep or similar being used for a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia, for example.
i’m from long island new york and we’ve had a few. oddities pop up (Montauk Monster, Plum Island, Camp Hero). and i’d say we have a There’s Something Watching You From The Beach vibe. everyone always says they love the beach, but being alone at night (esp with a bonfire) makes you realize you might not be alone at all
“More strange things wash up on these shores than on your average beach” is a wonderful creepy energy.
In my experience, Montauk also has the “end of the world” vibe, especially in the late fall and winter when you’re all alone on the bluffs staring out at the ocean.
