So here’s a fun thing: ‘before and after’ images!
I was looking through some old notes and found a page of thumbnail sketches I made way back when I was brainstorming ideas for the insanity cards in Deeper Darkness.
I remember coming up with concepts I thought would be fun to illustrate on my way home from the first meeting I had about the game.
As soon as I got back I went on a scribble spree, just trying to get the core ideas down without worrying about how bad the drawings looked. As long as I got them out of my head and onto a page, they’d be safe and I could work into them later.
Some of the initial thumbnails look pretty similar to the final illustrations (like these two) but others ended up changing quite a bit. I’ll post more soon!
