Deep Blue Bistro: Till We Meet Again
It's easier to start, but hard to finish. Nothing is permanant, but the change itself is. It has been 3 years already since I invested in Deep Blue Bistro, the small cocktail and beer shop, in one of community mall in BKK.
Why does it have to end if I am not ready to end? I have no choice. The contract come to an end, and the mall will take it back and convert to street food shop to be parallel with other shops nearby. The notice is about 1 month which stated Deep Blue Bistro must leave or changing to street food. This is not two choices, but only a choice provided by mall since my shop definitly cannot convert to Street Food like mall needs. OMG! the method used for removing the unwated shop is so simple, even Kids can understand.
What should I do beside saying Yes and moving all stuffs out soon. I won't waste my word to those who use autocrtic management rule there. Deep Blue Bistro was one of many shops which first opened when the mall inaugurated and more or less helped mall to grow to the present day. In business, there is no word "Understanding", but only "Profit". Got it!
That's a lesson in running business to learn in my life! Closing is not ending, but is a new begining for me.
