Crowley: Fine, so humanity isn’t all bad. There are more random good deeds than random evil ones.

Aziraphale: ...

Crowley: What’s the matter with you, you just won?

Aziraphale: ... Did anybody really win here though?

Crowley: ... Yeah, you. Your ‘goody two-shoes’ side got more points... What’s that face for?

Aziraphale: I had expected there to be a few evil deeds of course. I suppose I just... hadn’t expected so many to come from our followers themselves.

Crowley: What, because if they follow us, they must be flawless good people?

Aziraphale: No, no, I am more than willing to accept and forgive mistakes. But a lot of these were not mistakes. People were proud of what they’d done. They believed they were justified in what they did. That... isn’t the human behaviour I had been expecting... It all sounded... almost demonic.

Crowley: ... Angel, are you... alright?

Aziraphale: ... I think I might go out for a walk. Yes. I think that will make me feel better. Yes, I shall just pop out for a short walk.

Crowley: Alright... want me to come with you?

Aziraphale: No dear, you keep an eye on the blog for me. I shan’t be too long.

Crowley: ... Alright...

...

Summary: After seeing human nature up close and personal for the first time, Aziraphale needs to get away for a while and reflect on his feelings toward humanity. Little does he know what’s happening in his absence.

Crowley: Definite good deed, more people need to be like that.

Aziraphale: ... I’m sorry, did I mishear you there, Crowley?

Crowley: No, caring for cars is the one good deed I’ll allow. I’ll balance it out with some evil myself somewhere, but this is okay by me.

Aziraphale: Random compliments to strangers is a wonderful habit that all humans should take up.

Crowley: I’d advocate for random insults too to balance that out, but they already happen anyway without demonic interference.

Aziraphale: I think that a gentle harmless fib in this case is okay, as there was no harm behind it, and it was only done to bring greater enjoyment.

Crowley: So lies are okay if they’re followed by gifts. Noted.

Aziraphale: That’s... not exactly what I meant, no.

Crowley: Defying authority figures, huh? We salute you, anon.

Aziraphale: Quite an innocent evil deed that one. Yes, I like when we get this sort of thing in. 

Crowley: See, Aziraphale supports you too.

Aziraphale: What, no, that’s not what I’m saying!

Aziraphale: I will admit that I do not know what all of those words mean, but it does sound very positive. Am I right Crowley?

Crowley: Yeah, someone helped them out with a game.

Aziraphale: Ah how lovely to hear people are still playing board games together.

Aziraphale: Oh what a sweet story. I have not danced to folk music but I do of course know how wonderful it can feel to dance with people in an establishment of this sort. If somebody hadn’t encouraged me to dance in the first place, I would never have learned the gavotte.

Crowley: Someone teaching you to dance was an evil deed.

Aziraphale: No it wasn’t Crowley, be nice.
