OK #justforkicks anyone want to help with a little #symbolism research? I posted this pic yesterday alongside a pic of the very large stump it was split from (when the tree was whole this would've been about at the midway point of an over hundred foot tall tree that was about 5ft or more around) anyways I can't get it outta my head so I thought I'd ask y'all for help.... I know logically it's probably from a worm boring through the tree but who needs logic..... It's no fun that way! Plus the fact that you can see what looks like the symbol for running water under the winter tree looking sign at the top well, I have a fresh water creek that runs through my backyard not a hundred feet from where this tree stood for I'm assuming over a century (it was a huge tree, the bucket truck that they used to cut it down wouldn't reach further than a third of it's height) but the bottom markings I can't find a simple meaning for. I put a black n white filter on it this time to try to enhance the markings on it but I can post more detailed pics if anyone is interested in helping me figure it out!
