Uranus in the birth chart can reveal what a person wants to change because that change would benefit them personally, but may ultimately affect everyone else.

Despite popular belief, Uranus can be selfish. Like the shadow of its opposite sign, Leo, it often wants something for itself first, then realizes that change may only be possible if others are included or benefit too.

A person may build a business because they want financial freedom, but achieving that freedom requires employees, customers, or investors who also need something in return.

Uranus can therefore create progress inadvertently.
