It's hard to see, but I had to replace my cintiq because the cable seemingly died. So I got a cheap alternative with no screen today in the mail (ordered it on Friday). It's an XP - Pen Deco 03. So far super stoked with my purchase. Here are my thoughts. It's thin, light and reasonably sized. About as large as an a4 book. The pen even has a carry case for portability. And it's usb-c (the fuuuutureeee) It takes multiple input button presses at once so I have three of the six buttons for shift, ctrl and alt, and all three work plus the pen tip. The drivers are easy to understand and use. So far it doesn't mind that I have wacom drivers still installed either. It even has a programmable wheel with the option of skipping through different sliders. Suuuuuper useful so far. So I have zoom in/out, brush size, focus on layer up/down, and move layers up/down. It came with preinstalled photoshop shortcuts but I added zbrush to the programs list and changed it accordingly (just like wacom has). Super simple and robust. It's even wireless if I want it to be. I'm testing the lifespan now (a few hours in an no lag or battery signs - so far so good). And the pen doesn't need to be charged like other alternatives. Day 1 and I'm happy I bought it. I'll keep you all updated if anything isn't satisfactory :)
