9.What should you be doing right now?LOL SO MANY THINGS. Studying for my QR exam, writing my reflection paper for my theatre class, emailing Terry Tyler to ask him what exactly our final is because he never fucking said, SEQs, sending my graduation announcements, getting my shit together, packing⦠I should probably go to bed at some point too.
29.How many TRUE friends do you have? There are four people back home that I know will always have my back no matter what. And here at Wellesley, I count basically all of the SD7 and Shakes as true friends. Iām really, really lucky that there are so many people that I know truly care about me and give a damn what happens to me.
45.Your thoughts of long distance relationships?lol my last relationship worked so much better as an LDR than when we were on the same campus. It was a lot easier for me to rationalize the weird disconnect I was feeling as āoh itās because weāre long-distance, Iām sure Iāll feel much more sure of this when weāre close together again.ā I think the LDR-ness of that summer hid the fact that I just donāt feel certain things, and I was excusing it because I thought it was the distance. so that was a thing.
general thoughts on LDRs, idk, I understand that they donāt work for certain people because physical intimacy is a huge part of why some folks choose to be in a relationship. butāI guess speaking as a person that doesnāt have a huge drive for thatāI think sometimes people put too much focus on the physical intimacy part of it? I think if youāve got the emotional intimacy and youāre willing to put in the necessary relationship workāthat you would have to put in anyway for, yāknow, a non-LDRāI donāt see why it wouldn't work? I think some people think they donāt have to do the usual relationship work because itās long-distance, but thatās crap. I donāt do relationships and even I know you always have to work at a relationship.
oops i apparently had a lot of feelings about that
